Be an Active Learner!

This guide contains links to documents, videos, and apps to help you become an active learner. An active learner is someone who is excited about learning and looks for ways to help themselves succeed in their studies.

Each tab in the guide contains links to documents, videos, and apps to help you:

- Find out how you learn best   - Set goals for your learning    - Set up your study environment    - Manage your time    - Read actively    - Remember what you learn    - Take effective notes

Where do I start?

If you're not sure if you use active learning strategies, or you don't know where you need to improve, try these short self-assessments. There are no right or wrong answers, and no minimum score. We just want you to think about what you're already doing and what you can focus on improving.
