In 2019-2020 eProctoring services were successfully piloted by the Testing Centre and the Health and Administration Technology program.
This year we are pleased to roll out eProctoring services more broadly across the college for Moodle exams - our vendor is called ProctorU. Participating courses/exams were chosen by Associate Deans from each faculty.
We are one of the only (perhaps the only?) post-secondary Test Centre in Canada that centrally administers this service. This means we have made this process as easy as possible for instructors! Instructors do not need to interact with the vendor, configure their exams in ProctorU, etc. Once you set-up your Moodle exam, and provide us with some required information about your exams, the Testing Centre's Exam Administration team will do the rest!
Thank you to the faculty working group who contributed to our launch of eProctoring! As partners in assessment, the Test Centre and faculty representatives worked together on processes and standards in the launch of this new service. The working group will continue to meet regularly over the course of the year. Your faculty representatives will bring any feedback you have to the table, and we will work together to continue to make process improvements between our areas, and to ensure the best experience for our students.
