Library Services for Faculty: Distance Support

A high level guide that defines library services to NorQuest faculty.

Services to Regional and Distance Students

The library supports regional and distributed learners who have a NorQuest student identification number. These students are enrolled in a NorQuest course or program or are enrolled in a course or program from another institution, but under e-Campus guidelines have identified NorQuest as their partner institution.

How to Request Library Resources

Any person who has an active NorQuest identification number may place a request "hold" on circulating library resources through the library website. Items placed on hold by regional or distance students will be sent to their home address. Student information is gathered from their registration information and is deemed up-to-date. At least one week must be expected for delivery, more if there is a statutory holiday. Loan time for students in the region or at a distance is 4 weeks to enable time for the resource to travel to and from the location.
