This Guide is designed to give you a quick introduction to the Library resources and services.

Some of these library services include assisting students to develop research skills to help them write research papers. The library has a large collection of resources to meet your research needs including online journal articles, ebooks and evideo that are accessible from off-campus.

Explore and Learn about the Library

  1. Watch the Library Services section of video above.

  2. Access the Library website, and click on the Find tab

  3. Review the resources available in the Find section by clicking on each of the tabs listed below:

    1. Search - here you will find our OneSearch search box. Use it to find all the library resources such as books, ebooks, videos, evideos, audio and journal articles.

    2. Articles & Databases - library databases that contain journal articles as well as ebook collections

    3. Audio & Video - access to our online streaming video collections

    4. Tools - Google Scholar link, Solaro and LinkedIn Learning

    5. Research Guides – look at the guide for your program or course and the guide for APA 6th edition

    6. Tutorials - library created tutorial videos to help with your research and citations

  4. Review the services available in the Services section under For Students and The Writing Centre
