Welcome to the Accessibility Libguide for content creation and review. This guide will support the achievement of the NorQuest College Strategic Plan Key Objective 1.1 to "attract and retain learners by transforming the learner experience, anticipating learners’ needs, improving accessibility, and supporting mental health and wellness". We are who we include. In order to create an accessible learning space and workplace for people with disabilities, every NorQuester needs to follow accessibility guidelines when creating content for an audience.
Use the LibGuide menu to jump directly to the type of media you are developing to access accessibility guides specific to your content needs. Not sure where to start? Check out the Reviewing Accessibility section to learn how to run automatic accessibility checks on your existing content. Similar to spelling and grammar checks, an accessibility checker will help you flag accessibility issues and recommend actions to fix the issue.
