The NorQuest Makerspace is a place to learn through exploration, innovation, and creation.

Sewing, Stitching & Crafts in the Makerspace

There are sewing, stitching, and crafts available in the Makerspace when it is open, including:

  1. A sewing machine
  2. Knitting needles and crochet hooks
  3. Mending and weaving tools

Sewing Machines

The Makerspace has some supplies, including fabric and thread, available for learning to use the sewing machine. If you wish to complete a larger project, we recommend bringing your own material.

The Makerspace has a variety of knitting needles and crochet hooks in different sizes. You can sign these out for 3 weeks (with up to 4 possible renewals).

The Makerspace has some supplies, including yarn, available for learning to how to knit or crochet. If you wish to complete a larger project, we recommend bringing your own material.
