Generative AI Policy @ NorQuest

Your instructor can decide if you are allowed to use generative AI to complete an assignment, test, or exam. Your instructor will tell you in writing if generative AI is allowed, which you can find:

in your course outline or syllabus
in your misiwe pehtâkwan course
in an email
or in writing somwhere else.

It is not permitted to use generative AI unless your instructor says otherwise. If you are not sure, you should ask your instructor.

Microsoft Copilot - when using their NorQuest login, students have secure access to Copilot.

IMPORTANT! Copilot is the most secure approved generative AI tool. NorQuest recommends Copilot because it has the highest level of data security and privacy.
