NorQuest College Living Library (formerly known as Human Library) Video Interviews
The following 8 videos were created in order to expand participation by allowing instructors to use these interviews to support a social justice curriculum and meet what were then described as college-wide learning outcomes - what we now refer to as Skills of Distinction. The purpose of the videos is to portray how a person’s identity can shape their experience of the world. The participants addressed these components at their own discretion:
What would your book cover say about you? (ie. A summary of life experience)
What kind of discrimination have you faced in your life?
How do you overcome the negative experiences?
What do you recommend we as a society change for the future?
