When should I book my exam?

  • If you book to write your exam at a time when Testing Services is closed (including weekends, evenings, statutory holidays, winter break, etc.), ProctorU, as always, is your first avenue for technical support. In the rare case that no one can fix the problem, please email testing@norquest.ca to let us know what happened. We will get back to you as soon as we re-open.

What should I expect when using ProctorU to write my exams?

  • Plan to write in a private space. No one is allowed in the same room with you while you write. Using your webcam, be prepared to show the online proctor (supervisor) your room and workspace. It should be clear and empty except for your exam materials.
  • Your exam may not start right on time, or you may experience a technical issue that may lengthen the time spent writing your exam. It is good practice not to schedule your exam appointment too close to other activities you might have scheduled for yourself that day.
  • TIP: to learn more about what to expect, click on the Taking Your Exam tab.
