NorQuest College Black History Month

An online repository to showcase and consolidate materials and resources regarding Black History Month at NorQuest College.

Black History Month is a celebration and commemoration of the history and contributions of African, Black, and Caribbean (ACB) communities in Canada. The month of February denotes a particular time of year where we mindfully confront the issues facing ACB communities, and take time to celebrate their extensive history, culture, and future. NorQuest College celebrated its fourth year hosting numerous events and activities for you to participate in. We welcomed students, faculty and staff at NorQuest as well as our broader networks to join us for an amazing month remembering what was, and celebrating what is, and what can be.

Please check out the links below for the recordings of our lively discussions, featured speakers, a chef, and musical guests!

We are grateful for the partnership and collaboration with our community partners for our 2022 events.
