Why can't I renew the books I have checked out?
There are a few possible reasons that it will not let you renew your books. If you have already renewed the item the maximum number of times allowed you cannot renew it again online. If this is the case you will need to come into the library in person with the item and talk to the library staff. Another possible reason it will not let you renew a book is if another person has put a hold on the book. This means that you will have to return the item to the library. If you would like to use the book for a longer period of time you will have to put a hold on the item yourself. [close explanation]
