Accessibility

The new library search was designed with accessibility in mind. 

Overview of accessibility features: 

  • Search by Voice feature in the Basic Search allows user to dictate search terms rather than type them into the search box
  • Most parts of the new search interface can be navigated by keyboard and speech recognition software
  • Most of the new search can be listened to using screen reader software
  • Text remains easy to read up to 200% zoom
  • Functional on a variety of devices with varying screen sizes and orientations
