Filter your Search Results

Filter Basics

For all the filters, you can choose to either include or exclude specific options. For example:

The items type filter with a few of the options present: Articles, followed by Book Chapters, and Books. The box to the left of Articles has been checked indicating that the user only wants to see Articles in their search results. To the right of each of the item types, there is a red box with a crossed out check mark in it. If you select one of these, it removes an item type from your results list. There is both a Clear and Apply filters button below the item types.

Include: If you only want articles in your results, you would check the box  next to Articles, and click Apply Filters.

Exclude: Click on the red box  if you want to see all other item types except articles.
