I have exam accommodations from Accessibility Services - what do I need to do?
Generally, if you have exam accommodations from Accessibility Services, you will not be using ProctorU. Because many accommodations are not compatible with ProctorU, Accommodated Exam Services will provide you with the service you need instead.
Please note: if 1.5 extra time is your only exam accommodation, you will be able to write your exam with your classmates using ProctorU - all students receive universal 1.5 extra time. More information about this is in the Accessibility Services Guide, here.
When writing your exams with Accommodated Exam Services, all of your exam needs will be directly taken care of by our team. You will be using Kaltura to write your exams with us online. This is the same software you use in your online classroom, so it will be familiar with you. You will need a working microphone and webcam - please let your instructor know immediately if you do not have these.
You can contact us at accommodated.exams@norquest.ca or 780.644.6051 for more information.
Everything you need to know about on how to book with us can be found on our Student Guide to Accommodated Exams! |
