Student Guide to ProctorU

Please use this guide to prepare for your exams with ProctorU.

Create your ProctorU account

You need to create your account before you can book or write your exam - the earlier, the better. After creating your account, you need to test your computer to make sure everything is working properly. Go to the Prepare Your Computer section to learn more.

If you are a NEW user, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the ProctorU website here.

  1. Select 'NorQuest College' from the drop-down menu.

  1. Fill out all of the required information.
  • Note: enter your NorQuest email address into the email field. 
  1. Select 'Create Account' when complete.

 

If you are an EXISTING user who meets the criteria below, follow these steps:

  • Criteria: when you were an applicant, you wrote an exam called an "ACCUPLACER academic assessment" in order to meet program requirements. If you wrote this exam online, you may have already created a ProctorU account. If you already have an count, follow the steps in the ProctorU-Accuplacer: How to add NorQuest Enrolment document below document. 
  1. Log into your ProctorU account: https://go.proctoru.com/session/new
  2. Select your Account Settings from the top right of the page.
  3. Select Enrollments, then Add Enrollment.
  4. Select NorQuest College from the drop-down menu, then Update Account when complete. 

 

Going forward, when signing into your ProctorU account, select the Login with Single Sign-On option. Select NorQuest College from the drop-down menu, then select Sign In. 

Note: if this is your first time logging in through Single Sign-On, you will be prompted to link your ProctorU account with your NorQuest log in. Enter your information accordingly, then select "Link to this account".
