Learn to Write

Before you can start your assignment, you have to know what your instructor wants you to do! Make sure you read the guidelines you have been given several times, especially if there are many complex steps or the current assignment is related to a future assignment in your course. You also need to understand and plan ahead so you have enough time to complete all of the tasks that your instructor has asked you to do.

When you start to write, do you often stare at your paper or computer and not know what to do? Do you have a bunch of ideas in your head, but aren't sure how to get them out in writing? This process is called pre-writing and can be done in a variety of ways.
