Illicit trafficking is the unregulated trading or selling of both legal and illegal goods, services, wildlife, and humans. The illicit trafficking industry is responsible for innumerous environmental, animal, and human rights violations; ranging from the illicit cacao harvesting sector to the selling of children, and everything in between. These international atrocities affect each one of us as human beings-whether you or someone you know suffers from a drug addiction, has purchased counterfeit merchandise, or unknowingly consumed sugar harvested using child labor-we all have a role in illicit trafficking until it is disbanded.
Education is the first step to the eradication of these injustices. Please, join us in our exploration into drug abuse and the world of illicit trafficking.
