Code of conduct

Testing Services and Accommodated Exams provides a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment. Students are expected to follow the NorQuest Student Code of Conduct (link here) while taking an online exam or writing in-person at the Test Centre.

  • If there is a suspicion of academic misconduct (e.g. cheating), Testing Services will send a report, including supporting evidence, to the instructor. The instructor/program area will then follow the Academic Misconduct procedure in investigating and possible sanctioning.

  • If a student’s behaviour is disrespectful, abusive, or disruptive to the testing environment, whether in-person or online, Testing Services will report this behaviour to the Office of Student Judicial Affairs (OSJA). The student may not be able to complete their exam and/or may be asked to leave their appointment/Testing Centre. Interruption/inability to complete the exam will be reported to the instructor.
