The Assistive Technology team loans assistive technology equipment and provides training on assistive technologies such as Read & Write, EquatIO, Dragon, Jaws, and Glean. Assistive Technology also creates, procures, and provides alternate format materials for students. In addition, Assistive Technology meets with students to recommend equipment and software for the Schedule 4 grant.
NorQuest College is a bring-your-own-device college. Learn more about what type of device you need to be a successful student. Assistive Technology will provide you with software that is compatible with your personal device.
Current Service Offerings
- Assistive Technology Advisors are available by appointment Monday through Friday, they offer both face-to-face and virtual appointments.
- For quick AT questions or troubleshooting, they are also available between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday for a drop-in hour on campus and on Teams.
